SHELTER I 庇护所
This collection conveys an anti-war sentiment. No matter how grim and filthy the war-ravaged end times may be, a shelter always serves as spiritual solace. Outside the wall is mere survival; inside lies genuine life.
To authentically recreate the imagined setting of a shelter, we incorporated vintage wall lamps dating back to the 1960s, childhood toys brought back from Europe by the designer’s father, decades-old posters, worn iron beds, military ammunition cases, and early Eastern European strategic magazines. Though many of these intricate props may fall out of focus amid the depth of field in final shots, we spared no effort refining every small detail to infuse layered meaning into the entire scene.
